    How do I redeem my PLACE cash coupon(s) online?

    What is My Place Rewards?

    My Place Rewards is our FREE loyalty program. It allows you to earn points toward rewards that are emailed to you and conveniently waiting in your online account each month!

    How do I become a My Place Rewards member?

    You can sign up online by clicking ‘create account' at the top of our website or at any The Children's Place location in the United States. To become a member, you'll need to provide:

    • Your first and last name
    • A valid email address (Program communications, offers and rewards will be sent via email; therefore a valid email address is needed for membership.)
    • Your ZIP/postal code and phone number (We'll use your phone number to look up your account if you do not have your membership number at in-store checkout.)

    You are responsible for providing any changes or updates to your contact information.

    Can anyone join My Place Rewards?

    You can join My Place Rewards free of charge if you are a legal resident of the United States (including Puerto Rico) or Canada (if shipping an order to an address within the United States of America) and have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence.

    Why do you need my email address and phone number?

    All program communications and rewards will be sent via email, so you'll want to keep your contact information updated. We also collect a phone number should you prefer we use that to look up your My Place Rewards member number. Your zip code is used to send geo-targeted offers.

    Why do I need to set up my account online if I signed up in store?

    An online My Place Rewards account is required in order to access your points and rewards. If you signed up in stores, you'll receive a Welcome email with instructions on how to create a password for your online account. If you signed up in store and didn't receive a Welcome email, you can reset your password in order to access your online account.

    You must log in to your online account in order to check your point balance, view your rewards and see your special offers.

    I have a My Place Rewards Credit Card; can I participate in the program

    Great news, as a cardholder, you're already a member of My Place Rewards, but get an added perk of earning points even faster at 2 points for every $1 you spend. That means a $5 reward for every $50 spent!

    What are the My Place Rewards overall terms and conditions?

    The full terms and conditions of the program are available below. You're responsible for remaining knowledgeable about the program terms. The terms published in the My Place Rewards section of The Children's Place website will be the applicable terms for the program. The most current online version of these terms will supersede all previous versions of these terms.

  • Combining Accounts

    Two members may share an account if they are legal residents of the same household. Account sharing will be permitted if a requesting member provides reasonable proof that he/she legally shares a household with another member.

    If you would like to combine two accounts into one for the same household, one account will be closed and all purchases, points and coupons will be added to the other account. Please contact Customer Service at 1-877-752-2387 and an associate will be glad to assist you with combining your two accounts into one.

    How do I earn points in My Place Rewards?

    Before shopping online, log into your account. When shopping in stores, you'll need to present a valid account identifier such as your member number, email address or phone number and zip code.

    You earn 1 point for every US dollar spent, rounded to the nearest dollar, on eligible purchases at The Children's Place and The Children's Place Outlet stores located in the United States and Puerto Rico, and at childrensplace.com (excluding merchandise shipped outside the United States). The eligible purchase amount is the transaction total for merchandise and gift wrap service after any discounts and does NOT include taxes, shipping or purchases of gift cards.

    What is an eligible purchase?

    Transactions that can earn points (“eligible transactions”) include all purchases of merchandise and gift wrap service at The Children's Place and The Children's Place Outlet stores located in the United States and Puerto Rico and at childrensplace.com (excluding merchandise shipped outside the United States). A transaction may earn points for only one account.

    How do I earn bonus points with My Place Rewards?

    Bonus points may be earned on certain purchases or non-purchase activities as defined by The Children's Place from time to time. Be on the lookout for special members-only offer via email. The Children's Place reserves the right to limit promotional offers for bonus points to selected members and to terminate bonus point offers at any time.

    Can I earn points with My Place Rewards on purchases prior to my enrollment?

    Points cannot be earned or claimed on purchases made prior to your enrollment date. Bonus points cannot be earned prior to the start date of any bonus promotions associated with the Program.

    When are points posted to my account?

    Points are issued into your account approximately 48 hours after the date of the eligible transaction unless otherwise noted in the terms of the promotion.

    How can I track the points I earn in My Place Rewards?

    You may review your point balance and account activity on your My Place Rewards account page. You'll need your email address and password to log in.

    My account balance is missing a transaction, can I add points?

    If points are not issued for an eligible purchase, you may request the missing points up to 90 days after the original transaction through the Points History tab on your My Place Rewards account page. You'll be asked to provide certain transaction-related information on the receipt to verify the purchase. All requests are subject to verification, and The Children's Place's decision as to whether or not points were actually earned is final.

    How long do I have to use my points?

    Unused points will expire at the end of the calendar month one year after they are earned.
    For example, points earned in October 2016 will expire October 31, 2017.

    How can I use my rewards?

    Great news! Rewards are combinable (up to $200 dollars) and may be used toward the purchase of merchandise or gift wrap at The Children's Place and The Children's Place Outlet stores in the United States and Puerto Rico, as well as childrensplace.com (excluding merchandise shipped outside of the United States). You'll be able to use rewards and/or bonus rewards on any merchandise for sale including marked-down and clearance items; you won't be able to use rewards toward taxes, shipping or the purchase of gift cards. You may be responsible for taxes, shipping fees or any other fees applicable to reward redemption.

    How will I get my rewards?

    At the beginning of every month, we'll email you the rewards you've earned from the prior month. They'll also appear in your online account for super-easy checkout. Rewards can be printed from your online coupon wallet or can be directly applied to an online purchase.

    How do I redeem a reward?

    You can print out your reward email and show it at in-store checkout or apply the web code to an online purchase. Rewards will also be accessible from your online coupon wallet and can be directly applied your online purchase.

    Can rewards be combined with other offers?

    You may combine up to $200 in rewards as long as they are all from the same My Place Rewards member account. You may combine rewards with one other offer unless otherwise noted on the offer. You may also use reward certificates when redeeming merchandise credits.

    What happens if the rewards I'm redeeming exceed my purchase amount?

    If the rewards you are redeeming exceeds the amount of the purchase, no cash or credit or refund will be given for the unused portion.

    Can I redeem the same reward multiple times?

    Each issued reward will have a unique coupon code and may only be used once. You'll need to provide a printout of the reward or the bar code at the time of purchase.

    How long do I have to use my rewards?

    Reward certificates expire on the date stated on the certificate.

    I lost my reward, what can I do?

    Unused rewards will always be available online. You may either reprint your email or log in to your account to see your rewards and show them at in-store checkout (or apply them to an online purchase). Once the reward has expired or been redeemed, it cannot be replaced and will be removed from your online account.

    Can I give my reward(s) to someone else?

    No, rewards are not transferable.

  • Birthday Savings

    What are Birthday Savings?

    Birthday Savings are a benefit of My Place Rewards and the My Place Rewards Credit Card. My Place Rewards members will receive a 20% off coupon during the month of their child's birthday and My Place Rewards Credit Cardholders will receive a 25% off coupon. Simply fill out the Birthday Savings section for up to 4 children under the Personal Info tab of your My Place Rewards online profile.

    How do I get Birthday Savings?

    You can enroll by adding up to 4 kids' birthdays in the Birthday Savings section of your My Place Rewards profile.

    How long does it take for my kids' membership to become effective after I enroll?

    We must receive your completed registration at least 4 to 6 weeks before your kid's birthday in order for you to receive their birthday surprise for this year.

    How old does my child have to be in order for me to qualify for the Birthday Savings?

    Birthday Savings are for kids ages 0-14.

    I live outside of the United States; can I sign my kid up for the Birthday Savings?

    No. Only US residents can register for Birthday Savings.

    Can I complete registration forms for kids other than my own?

    No. We need consent from the child's parent or legal guardian in order to complete any registration.

    Can my kid(s) just complete and submit their own registration form?

    No. You must be 18 years old or older and the parent or legal guardian of the child being registered in order to complete and submit a registration form.

    I have twins/triplets etc. who share the same birthday; will I get a surprise for each of them that month?

    Yes. You will receive a Birthday coupon in an email for each child celebrating a birthday within that month.

  • Returns

    What happens to my points if I make a return?

    If you return the merchandise, any points you earn on a purchase are deducted from your account.

    What happens to my reward if I make a return?

    When merchandise is returned from a transaction where a reward was used, the amount refunded will be the purchase price of the item(s) less a prorated amount of the reward that was applied. Once a reward has been used in a transaction, it cannot be reissued or used again. Rewards will not be reimbursed after a return.

    Why do I need to create an online account to participate in My Place Rewards?

    You need to register your online account and create a password in order to view your points and spend your rewards. Your online account comes with several additional benefits:

    • Birthday Savings: You can sign up to receive Birthday Savings offers in your My Place Rewards profile.
    • Offer Carousel: You'll be able to see your rewards and any bonus offers you may have.
    • Saved shopping cart: Selected items will be saved between sessions so that if you are interrupted, you can come back later without having to start over.
    • Faster online orders: You won't have to enter your personal information every time you place an order.

    How do I update my account information?

    You can update your account information from your My Place Rewards account page. You will need to log in to your account using your username and password. You should provide and maintain accurate and current user information in connection with your membership, including name, email address, phone number and zip code so that you can continue to enjoy all the benefits of the My Place Rewards program.

  • Cancelation/Termination

    How do I cancel my membership?

    You have the right to cancel your membership at any time by calling Customer Service: U.S. customers at 877-752-2387, Canadian customers at 877-827-7895. If you cancel your membership, your account will be closed, your point balance will be zero and you will no longer have membership benefits.

    The Children's Place, in its sole discretion, may terminate your membership without notice if continued use of your membership would violate any terms. For example, if The Children's Place has valid reason to believe your account is being used fraudulently, membership will be terminated. If your membership is terminated, your account will be closed, your point balance will be zero and you will no longer have membership benefits.

    Eligibility and Enrollment

    Program communications, offers, and reward certificates will be sent via email; therefore, a valid email address is required for Membership. If you applied for Membership in a U.S. store, you must create an online account at childrensplace.com for certain features of the Program. If you are a My Place Rewards Credit Cardholder and have not previously provided a valid email address, you may create an online account at childrensplace.com or call 1-877-PLACE-US (752-2387) to update your contact information. When creating your online account, please use the same information provided during the My Place Rewards Credit Card application process so your rewards account may be properly synced with your My Place Rewards Credit Card.     You may have only one My Place Rewards account. If you are a My Place Rewards Credit Cardholder, you may have four additional authorized buyers on your credit card account, and all authorized buyers will have one My Place Rewards account under the primary cardholder’s name and contact information. If you are not a My Place Rewards Credit Cardholder, two members may share an account if they are legal residents of the same household. In this instance, account sharing will be permitted if a requesting member provides reasonable proof that he/she legally shares a household with another member.

    Residents of Canada: Points can only be earned and reward certificates can only be redeemed on purchases made at The Children's Place and The Children's Place Outlet stores located in the United States and Puerto Rico, and at childrensplace.com if shipped to a street address or PO Box in the United States.

    General Program Terms

    By enrolling in the Program, you are confirming that you are the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence, you accept these terms and conditions, and you give the Company the right to use your transactional and profile data to send personalized program communications and special offers to the email address provided during enrollment.

    You are responsible for remaining knowledgeable about the Program terms. The terms published in the My Place Rewards section of The Children's Place website (childrensplace.com/rewards-terms) will be the applicable terms for the Program. The most current online version of these terms will supersede all previous versions of these terms.

    Unless prohibited under the applicable laws of your jurisdiction, such as Quebec, The Children's Place reserves the right to terminate or change the Program, or any portion thereof, at any time, without prior written or electronic notice. Regardless of how you participate in the Program, benefits can be changed or terminated at any time without notice at the sole discretion of The Children's Place. If you do not agree with the revised terms, you may cancel your Membership. For details on how to cancel your Membership, see below.

    The Program is void where prohibited by law.

    Earning Points

    When you present a valid account identifier such as your member number, phone number or email address from your member profile, you earn points on the eligible purchase amount at the rate of 1 point per US dollar spent (2 points per US dollar spent using the My Place Reward Credit Card), rounded to the nearest dollar. The eligible purchase amount is the transaction total for merchandise and gift wrap service after any discounts and does NOT include taxes, shipping or purchases of gift cards.

    Transactions that can earn points ("eligible transactions") include all of your purchases of merchandise and gift wrap service at The Children's Place and The Children's Place Outlet stores located in the United States and Puerto Rico and at childrensplace.com (excluding merchandise shipped outside the United States). In order to earn points for online transactions at childrensplace.com, you must have an online account at childrensplace.com and be logged in for the online transaction. A transaction may earn points for only one My Place Rewards account.

    Bonus points may be earned on certain purchases or non-purchase activities as defined by the Company from time to time. The Company reserves the right to limit promotional offers for bonus points to selected members and to terminate bonus point offers at any time.

    Points cannot be earned or claimed on purchases made prior to your enrollment date. Bonus points cannot be earned prior to the start date of any bonus promotions associated with the Program. Points have no cash or other monetary value, are not transferable and may not be sold, resold, exchanged or bartered. Points are issued into your account approximately 48 hours after the date of the eligible transaction unless otherwise noted on the terms of a bonus offer.

    If points are not issued for an eligible transaction, you may request the missing points up to 90 days after the original transaction at childrensplace.com or by calling 1-877-PLACE-US (752-2387). You will be asked to provide certain transaction-related information on the receipt to verify the purchase. All requests are subject to verification. The Company's decision as to whether or not points will be earned is final.

    Unused points will expire at the end of the calendar month one year after they are earned. For example, points earned in October 2016 will expire October 31, 2017.

    The Company may adjust your account status or points balance at any time and without notice, due to any computer or other error, technical issues experienced by the Company, machine malfunction, fraud or other misuse of Membership.

    All transactions involving points are subject to review and verification by the Company. Points or reward certificates you earn or are awarded may be subject to taxation, for which you are solely responsible. The Company will not be responsible for any tax consequences which may flow from your Membership.

    You may review your point balance and account activity by logging into your My Place Rewards account at childrensplace.com.

    Earning and Redeeming Rewards

    You are eligible for reward certificates as follows:

    • 100 points for a $5 USD reward

    The Company will issue reward certificates generally by the 7th day of the month following the month in which you become eligible for a reward certificate(s). For example, any rewards earned in October 2016 generally would be issued no later than November 7, 2016. Reward certificates will be issued to your valid email address and can also be obtained by logging into your account at childrensplace.com. No more than 4 reward certificates will be issued in any calendar month and will be issued in the following values: $5, $10, $15, $20, $50, $100, $150, $200 USD. From your member account or valid email, you can print the reward certificate or apply it to an online purchase using the certificate web code. You may earn no more than $200 USD in reward certificates in any given calendar month. If you earn more than 4000 points, equal to a $200 USD reward certificate, in a single calendar month, your remaining points will carry over to the following calendar month.

    You may combine more than one reward certificate as long as they are all from the same My Place Rewards account. You may also use reward certificates on a transaction where you are using a merchandise credit. My Place Rewards Certificate and/or other $ off coupons/offers will be applied prior to any % off coupons/offers.

    Reward certificates cannot be redeemed for cash, and no cash or credit or refund will be given for the unused portion if a reward certificate exceeds the amount of the purchase.

    You may use your reward certificate only toward the purchase of merchandise or gift wrap at The Children's Place and The Children's Place Outlet stores in the United States and Puerto Rico, as well as childrensplace.com (excluding merchandise shipped outside of the United States). You will be able to use reward certificates on any merchandise for sale including marked down and clearance items. You will not be able to use reward certificates for tax, shipping or the purchase of gift cards.     Each reward certificate issued will have a unique reward number and may be used only once. You will need to provide a printout of the reward certificate or the reward number at the time of purchase in order to redeem a reward certificate, which may be done by using the reward number stored in your member account (online at childrensplace.com). Reward certificates are not transferable and may not be sold, resold, exchanged or bartered.

    Reward certificates expire on the date stated on the certificate.

    Returns

    Any points you earn on a purchase are deducted from your account if you return the merchandise. When merchandise is returned from a transaction where a reward certificate was used, the amount refunded will be the purchase price of the item(s) less a prorated amount of the reward certificate that was applied. If the points deducted during a return transaction exceed your current point balance, your account will reflect a negative balance. For example, your points balance prior to your return transaction is 70 points and you return $80 USD in merchandise; your new points balance would be -10. Once a reward certificate has been used in a transaction it cannot be reissued or used again, even if the merchandise purchased with the certificate was returned.

    Birthday Savings

    To receive birthday savings (20% for My Place Rewards members and 25% for My Place Rewards Credit Card members), you must provide The Children’s Place with your children’s birth month by logging in and updating your My Place Rewards account at childrensplace.com. Members are eligible to receive birthday offers for up to 4 children. Birthday savings will be issued to your valid email.

    The birthday savings may be used toward the purchase of merchandise or gift wrap at The Children's Place and The Children's Place Outlet stores in the United States and Puerto Rico, as well as childrensplace.com (excluding merchandise shipped outside of the United States). You will be able to use the birthday savings on any merchandise for sale including marked down and clearance items. You may be responsible for taxes, shipping fees or any other fees applicable to reward certificate redemption. Regular shipping rates apply and are not discounted due to birthday savings. Each birthday savings issued will have a unique offer number and may be used only once.     Account Information

    You must provide and maintain accurate and current user information in connection with your Membership, including name, email address and telephone number. You can update your account information at childrensplace.com.

    Cancellation; Termination

    You have the right to cancel Membership at any time by calling Customer Service: U.S. customers at 877-PLACE-US, Canadian customers at 877-827-7895. If you cancel your Membership, your account will be closed, your points balance will be zero and you will no longer have Membership benefits. The Company, in its sole discretion, may terminate your Membership without notice if continued use of your Membership would violate any of these terms or applicable law. For example, if the Company has valid reason to believe your account is being used fraudulently, Membership will be terminated. If your Membership is terminated, your account will be closed, your point balance will be zero and you will no longer have Membership benefits.

    Privacy Policy

    The Program will comply with the Privacy Policy of the Company available at childrensplace.com/us/help-center/#privacyPolicySectionli (for U.S. privacy policy) and childrensplace.com/ca/help-center/#privacyPolicySectionli (for Canada privacy policy).

    Applicable Law and Mandatory Agreement to Arbitrate on an Individual Basis

    Unless the applicable laws of your jurisdiction require that the laws of such jurisdiction govern, such as Quebec, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Program terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed under the laws of New Jersey, U.S.A. without reference to conflict of law provisions.

    United States and Puerto Rico: Any and all controversies, disputes, demands, counts, claims, or causes of action (including the interpretation and scope of this clause, and the arbitrability of the controversy, dispute, demand, counts, claim, or cause of action) between you and the Company or the Company's employees, agents, successors, or assigns, shall exclusively be settled through binding and confidential arbitration, except that you or the Company may take claims to small claims court if the dispute qualifies for hearing by such a court. In addition, each party retains the right to seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement, misappropriation or violation of a party’s copyright, trademarks, trade secrets, patents or other intellectual property rights.

    There is no judge or jury in arbitration and arbitration procedures are simpler and more limited than rules applicable in court. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT, APART FROM THE NARROW EXCEPTIONS ABOVE, YOU AND THE COMPANY ARE EACH WAIVING RIGHTS TO SUE IN COURT, INCLUDING RIGHTS TO RECEIVE A TRIAL BY JURY OR TO PARTICPATE AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT, CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION, PRIVATE ATTORNEY-GENERAL ACTION, OR ANY OTHER REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

    Arbitration shall be subject to the U.S. Federal Arbitration Act and federal arbitration law, and shall be conducted by the Judicial Arbitration Mediation Services, Inc. (“JAMS”) pursuant to the JAMS Streamlined Arbitration Rules & Procedures effective July 1, 2014 (the “JAMS Rules”) and as modified by this agreement to arbitrate. The JAMS Rules, including instructions for bringing arbitration, are available at ist website at http://jamsadr.com/rules-streamlined-arbitration. The Minimum Standards are available at http://jamsadr.com/consumer-arbitration/.

    You and the Company must abide by these rules: (a) THE ARBITRATION SHALL BE CONDUCTED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION AND THE ARBITRATOR SHALL NOT AWARD CLASS-WIDE RELIEF; (b) the Company will pay its arbitration costs as required by JAMS rules, and in the event that you are able to demonstrate that the costs of arbitration will be prohibitive as compared to costs of litigation, TCP will pay as much of your arbitration filing and hearing fees as the arbitrator deems is necessary to prevent the arbitration from being cost-prohibitive as compared to the cost of litigation; (c) the arbitrator may award any individual relief or individual remedies that are permitted by applicable law; and (d) each side pays his, her or its own attorneys' fees and costs unless the claim(s) at issue permit the prevailing party to be paid its fees and litigation costs, and in such instance, the fees and costs awarded shall be determined by the applicable law.

    With the exception of subpart (a) in the paragraph above, if any part of this arbitration provision is deemed invalid, unenforceable or illegal, then the balance of this arbitration provision shall remain in effect and be construed in accordance with its terms as if the invalid, unenforceable, or illegal provision were not contained. If, however, subpart (a) in the paragraph above is found invalid, unenforceable or illegal, then the entirety of this arbitration provision shall be null and void. If for any reason a claim proceeds in court rather than in arbitration, the dispute shall be exclusively brought in state or U.S. federal court in New Jersey.

    Canada: After any dispute arises, the parties involved in the dispute may agree to resolve the dispute using Arbitration. If the parties elect to use arbitration, disputes shall be referred to ADR Institute of Canada.     How do I wash and care for my item?

    Always check the inner label on all garments for detailed instructions on how to wash and care for your item. Labels are located on the back neckline or side seams of the item.

    Here are some helpful hints to keep mind…

    • Sort dark colors, bright colors, and white colors into separate loads before washing. Delicate items or items made of thinner, fragile fabrics like mesh and sequins should also be washed separate from heavier, more abrasive fabrics like jeans and sweaters.
    • Wash high pile fabrics like thick sweaters, towels or blankets separate from dark fabrics and fabrics that attract lint.
    • Treat troublesome stains with a stain remover and pre-soak stained clothing before laundering.
    • Turn the following inside out:
      • Colors to keep them bright and lively
      • Items with embroideries, embellishments and prints for minimal agitation to the design
      • Microfiber tights and items made of synthetic fabrics to prevent snagging or pilling
    • Zip up zippers, button up buttons and fasten velcro strips and your items will escape from the wash without a hitch, a snag or a tangle.
    • Always be sure to check the pockets of all garments before washing and drying. The stains and damage which can result from one hidden lipstick, lip balm, stick of gum or crayon goes beyond words!
    • Some fabrics have a tendency to shrink even when they are pre-shrunk. When in doubt, keep it cool. Wash in cold water, tumble dry low or line dry and use a cool iron only when needed.
    • Wash new denims and new items with dark dyes inside out and separately the first few washes to avoid excess dye from possibly bleeding and streaking.
    • Clothing should be left in the dryer just long enough to remove moisture and wrinkles. Any longer and the heat can actually set wrinkles, increase static cling and cause shrinkage. Consider this for both natural and “man-made” fibers.
    • Do not overload your dryer. Too much in the dryer will lead to items getting jumbled together, lots of damp clothing and oodles of wrinkles.

    How often is your item availability updated?

    • We update the availability of the items on our site in close to "real time". Items that you find on our site are available in the sizes that display on the product page. In rare circumstances (such as where two users purchase the last unit of an item almost simultaneously), it is possible that the item that was ordered will be unavailable to ship. In such an event, the item will be canceled from your order and you will be notified by email.
    • Once an item is out of stock online, we may not replenish it. Please click on "Stores" to find locations in your area. Call the store nearest to you and simply, speak with one of our store associates who will be more than happy to assist you.
    • We do not backorder any sold out items.
    • At this time, we do not have the system capability to perform a store search for past season items, as they are transferred to various locations. Some sale items may only be found in our outlet locations.
    • Some items may not be available to ship to certain states due to state-specific regulations. These items will be removed from your order before shipping.

  • Order Cancellation

    To understand why orders are canceled, it's important to clarify the process that takes place when submitting an order on childrensplace.com.

    After you checkout online, all of the backend verification magic occurs. Every order goes through a verification process, which usually takes about 24 business hours to complete. During this time, we confirm that all of your information is accurate. This includes (but isn't limited to) shipping, billing and payment information. We'll also place an authorization hold (see below) on your credit or debit card. If at any point, our verification department runs into an issue verifying details, you'll receive an email informing you that your order was canceled. Not to worry… you'll have the chance to make corrections and submit a new order.

    NOTE: Canceled orders cannot be reinstated.

    Why exactly was my order canceled?

    Because our verification systems are working incredibly fast to get those orders processed, the exact reason an order was canceled may not be evident in your email. To make it a bit easier, here are some of the most common issues you can use to help verify information before resubmitting your order.

    What's an authorization hold?

    Once your online order is submitted, an authorization hold is placed for the total amount until the order is fulfilled. When the order ships, the charge is processed. If the order is canceled, the authorization hold will automatically drop. Please note that authorization holds will vary depending on the bank's policy, regardless of credit card company.

    If the order is canceled, you may contact your bank to request an immediate release of any holds on your account. If the bank is unable to assist you, please contact us and have the following information handy:

    • Transaction amount

    1. INCORRECT SHIPPING INFORMATION

    First, please confirm that the address you entered is a valid United States address (including US military and US territory). Then, confirm that your address doesn't have any misspellings or missing numbers. Be sure to also double check any apartment or suite numbers.

    If you are shipping internationally, you'll need to change your ‘ship to' preferences (on the homepage) before placing your order. In other words, you can't ship internationally if you are shopping on childrensplace.com with the US selected as your ‘ship to' country.

    2. INCORRECT BILLING INFORMATION

    Have you recently moved or changed your billing address? For an order to process properly, your billing information must match the address your bank has on file for that particular credit card. Please confirm that your information is accurate.

    When billing information is incorrectly entered, we aren't able to re-process another authorization. Therefore, a new order must be placed with the correct information.

    Do you have order limits online?

    • Yes, you can only purchase up to 15 units of a single item in one single order. For example, if you like a particular shirt, you can only order 15 or less of that specific item/SKU.

    Will I be charged Sales tax on my order?

    The Children's Place is required by law to add the appropriate sales tax on any order shipped to a state where we operate a retail store. Please visit our Store Locator to identify the states with retail locations. Sales tax will be automatically calculated during the checkout process according to applicable local and state laws.

    Please note: Some states require us to tax shipping charges as well as merchandise. If you return an item for a refund, you will also receive a refund for the sales tax you paid for that item; however, you will not receive a refund for the sales tax you paid on the shipping and handling of that item, as the shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable once an item has been shipped.

    If you are a registered user and logged in to our site while shopping, your Shopping Bag will be saved for 14 days even if you log out or close your web browser, just log back in to retrieve it.

    How do I add items to my Favorites?

    You must be logged in to add items to your Favorites. There are three ways you can add items to your lists. Click the heart:

    • On the product listing page
    • On the product detail page
    • While shopping outfits Note: when clicking the heart, the item will automatically go to your default Favorites unless you select another list. The first Favorites you create will be your default list. You have the option to assign any list as your default list at any time.

    Can I have more than one Favorites list?

    Yes! You can manage up to five Favorites lists and give each one a unique name. You have the option to edit the names of your Favorites lists.

    Favorites can hold up to 50 items. Many of our customers keep separate Favorites lists for each kid. It’s a great way to track birthday and holiday gifts!

    What is a default list?

    The first Favorites you create will be your default list. This is the list that items will automatically go to when you click the heart. You have the option of assigning any list as your default at any time.

    Can I remove/move items from Favorites?

    Of course! As the Favorites owner, you have the ability to add, delete, move, share and buy items from Favorites.

    To delete an item while in your Favorites list, click the “heart at the right of the item and it will be removed. To move items from one Favorites list to another, click “MOVE TO ANOTHER FAVORITES” button at the bottom of the item.You will be able to select another list using the dropdown arrow.

    What happens when an item is purchased from my Favorites?

    The purchased item will move to the bottom of your list for future reference under “PURCHASED” once the transaction is complete. Purchased items may also be deleted from this section at any time.

    What happens when an item in my Favorites is out of stock?

    Out-of-stock items will automatically sort to the bottom of the list.

    How do I share a Favorites?

    You can share your Favorites via email, facebook or using a shortened link at the top right of your Favorites page.

    When sharing via email, you may share with up to five people at a time and will be able to add a customized message. Be sure to enter your shipping address in this message to make sure your gift is delivered to the right place!

    Can an associate access my Favorites lists in stores? At this time, associates do not have access to Favorites, but you can log into your account from a mobile devise to see your saved Favorites lists while shopping!

    Will my Favorites be available on the Canada website and visa versa?

    At this time, access to one Favorites for both stores is unavailable. If you are a shopper of both websites, you will need to create a separate list for each respective site.

    Returning/Exchanging an Online Purchase in Store

    To return/exchange your online order at any of our PLACE retail or outlet stores, please bring:

    2. The item(s) you're returning/exchanging
    3. The credit card that matches the 'ordered by' information on the front of your packing slip

    Note:

    • Online Exclusive items are only eligible for returns in stores; they may not be exchanged in retail or outlet stores.
    • We are currently unable to research online orders at stores. Please be sure to bring the above information.

    Returning an Online Purchase(Gift) by Mail

    To return your online order by mail:

    1. Detach the bottom portion of your packing slip labeled "Return Form." Please indicate the quantity for each item being returned on the front, and circle a Return Reason code.
    2. If you are returning a gift and prefer that we send you a merchandise credit* (rather than issue a refund to the original purchaser's credit card), please check the box at the bottom of the packing slip.
    3. Fill in your contact information in the space provided on your packing slip so that, if necessary, we can contact you about your return.
    4. Place the items you're returning along with the completed Return Form in a box and seal it securely. Detach the pre-addressed return label from the packing slip and place it on the box or use your own mailing label.

    Can I modify or cancel an order?

    Once an order is completed and confirmed, it cannot be cancelled, updated (to add/remove items) or changed. You may return or exchange items at any of our store locations. Online exclusive styles are now eligible for in-store returns, however they are not eligible for in-store exchanges. Please view our Return & Exchange policy here for additional information.

    Will I be charged Sales tax on my order?

    The Children's Place is required by law to add the appropriate sales tax on any order shipped to a state where we operate a retail store. Please visit our Store Locator to identify the states with retail locations. Sales tax will be automatically calculated during the checkout process according to applicable local and state laws. Please note: Some states require us to tax shipping charges as well as merchandise. If you return an item for a refund, you will also receive a refund for the sales tax you paid for that item; however, you will not receive a refund for the sales tax you paid on the shipping and handling of that item, as the shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable once an item has been shipped.

  • Multiple shipments

    Why is my order arriving in multiple shipments?

    We’ll always try to ship an entire order together, but there are times certain items will ship from different fulfillment centers or directly from local stores. This is all based on inventory availability. In the event we need to split your order, you’ll receive an email that will include the expected ship dates and items in each shipment.

    Will I be charged for shipping on multiple shipments?

    When we divide an order into multiple shipments, you will not be charged an additional shipping fee. In the event there is a shipping charge, it will only apply to the first shipment.

    Will there be multiple authorizations holds on my credit card for multiple shipments?

    No, only one authorization hold will remain on the account until all items in the order have shipped. Please note the original authorization hold will remain until all shipments have been completed.

    How can I track my order?

    • You may track your package by selecting the order status link in the footer below and entering your order number and shipping zip code. If you do not know your order number, please call 1-877-Place US (877-752-2387) and a Customer Service Representative will be happy to assist you.
    • You may also print a copy of your invoice by clicking on "Order Status". Upon entering your order number and shipping zip code, it will allow you to view a summary of your order. This summary can act as an invoice for any returns or exchanges.

    I ordered on the web site and still have not received my things

    • Once your order has left our warehouse you will receive an email confirmation with your order tracking number. A link to the appropriate courier's site will be provided for easy tracking. You can also check your order status by selecting the link in the footer below if you have your order number and shipping zip code available.     Indemnity

    To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold The Children’s Place, its directors, officers, employees, agents and affiliates harmless from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, in any way arising from, related to or in connection with your misuse of the Site, your violation of the Terms or the posting or transmission of any materials on or through the Site by you, including, but not limited to, any third-party claim that any information or materials you provide infringes any third-party proprietary right.

    Disputes and Mandatory Arbitration

    PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT MAY SIGNIFICANTLY AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT.

In addition, each party retains the right to seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement, misappropriation or violation of a party’s copyright, trademarks, trade secrets, patents or other intellectual property rights.

    There is no judge or jury in arbitration, and court review of an arbitration award is limited. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT, APART FROM THE NARROW EXCEPTIONS ABOVE, YOU AND THE CHILDREN’S PLACE EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO SUE IN COURT, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO RECEIVE A TRIAL BY JURY OR TO PARTICIPATE AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT, CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION, PRIVATE ATTORNEY-GENERAL ACTION, OR ANY OTHER REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. THE ARBITRATION SHALL BE CONDUCTED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION AND THE ARBITRATOR SHALL NOT AWARD CLASS-WIDE RELIEF.

    The arbitration shall be conducted by the Judicial Arbitration Mediation Services, Inc. (“JAMS”) pursuant to the JAMS Streamlined Arbitration Rules & Procedures effective July 1, 2014 (the “JAMS Rules”) and as modified by this agreement to arbitrate. The JAMS Rules, including instructions for bringing arbitration, are available at its website at http://jamsadr.com/rules-streamlined-arbitration. The Minimum Standards are available at https://www.jamsadr.com/consumer-minimum-standards or by calling 1-800-352-5267. 

    You and The Children’s Place must abide by these rules: (a) THE ARBITRATION SHALL BE CONDUCTED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION AND THE ARBITRATOR SHALL NOT AWARD CLASS-WIDE RELIEF; (b) The Children’s Place will pay its arbitration costs as required by JAMS Rules, and in the event that you are able to demonstrate that the costs of arbitration will be prohibitive as compared to costs of litigation, The Children’s Place will pay as much of your arbitration filing and hearing fees as the arbitrator deems is necessary to prevent the arbitration from being cost-prohibitive as compared to the cost of litigation; (c) the arbitrator may award any individual relief or individual remedies that are permitted by applicable law; and (d) each side pays his, her or its own attorneys' fees and costs unless the claim(s) at issue permit the prevailing party to be paid its fees and litigation costs, and in such instance, the fees and costs awarded shall be determined by the applicable law.

    Notwithstanding any of the foregoing, nothing in these Terms will preclude you from bringing issues to the attention of federal, state, or local agencies and, if the law allows, they can seek relief against us for you. 

    General Information

    These Terms, including our Privacy Policy and My Place Rewards terms and conditions (for registered site users) constitute the entire agreement between you and The Children’s Place and govern your use of the Site, and they supersede any prior agreements between you and The Children’s Place. The Children’s Place may terminate this Agreement and deny you access to the Site at any time, immediately and without notice, if in The Children’s Place’s sole discretion you fail to comply with any provision of these Terms. The provisions relating to Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability, Indemnity, and Disputes shall survive any termination. 

    You agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment or agency relationship exists between The Children’s Place and you as a result of this Agreement or your use of the Site.

    The failure of The Children’s Place to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. The invalidity of any term, condition or provision in these Terms shall not affect the enforceability of those portions of the Terms deemed enforceable by applicable courts of law.

    You may not assign the Terms or any of your rights or obligations under the Terms without The Children’s Place’s express written consent. The Terms inure to the benefit of The Children’s Place’s successors, assigns, affiliates and licensees. The section titles in these Terms are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect.

    Severability
