Holiday Return Policy

Purchases made from 11/01/16 through 12/01/16 may be returned through 1/15/17 with your original sales receipt.

The Children's Place Return and Exchange Policy

We will accept unwashed, unworn or defective merchandise, with the original sales receipt/packing slip and price tags attached, within 45 days. Returns will not be accepted without the original sales/gift receipt or packing slip. All returns are subject to verification of original sale, and we reserve the right to limit returns.

Can be returned by mail or to a retail or outlet location

I HAVE THE ORIGINAL SALES RECEIPT/PACKING SLIP:

  • Returns within 45 days receive a full refund in the original form of payment. If original form of payment is not available, a merchandise credit* will be issued.
  • Returns after 45 days will not be accepted.

I HAVE A GIFT RECEIPT:

  • Returns within 45 days receive a full refund in the form of a merchandise credit.*
  • Returns after 45 days will not be accepted.

I DO NOT HAVE THE ORIGINAL SALES RECEIPT/PACKING SLIP:

  • Returns will not be accepted without the original sales receipt or packing slip.
  • Exchanges can be processed for the same item/color in a different size.

Please note:

*Merchandise credit is not redeemable for cash (unless required by law) and cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or used without customer permission. Terms and conditions apply and can be found on the back of the merchandise credit.

Returning/Exchanging an Online Purchase in Store

To return/exchange your online order at any of our PLACE retail or outlet stores, please bring:

  1. Your packing slip
  2. The item(s) you're returning/exchanging
  3. The credit card that matches the 'ordered by' information on the front of your packing slip

Note:

Returning an Online Purchase(Gift) by Mail

To return your online order by mail:

  1. Detach the bottom portion of your packing slip labeled "Return Form." Please indicate the quantity for each item being returned on the front, and circle a Return Reason code.
  2. If you are returning a gift and prefer that we send you a merchandise credit* (rather than issue a refund to the original purchaser's credit card), please check the box at the bottom of the packing slip.
  3. Fill in your contact information in the space provided on your packing slip so that, if necessary, we can contact you about your return.
  4. Place the items you're returning along with the completed Return Form in a box and seal it securely. Detach the pre-addressed return label from the packing slip and place it on the box or use your own mailing label.
  5. Mail your package via the carrier of your choice to:

Exchanging an Online Purchase by Mail

Unfortunately, exchanges cannot be processed through the mail. If you are not near a store and would like an exchange, you can return the original item by mail for a refund, and then place a new order for the item you need.
